Job Title: MRI Technologist Job Specialty: Radiology/Cardiology Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) Guaranteed Hours: Client may call off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without paying for the canceled hours. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Must have an active license to apply Certifications: ARRT-MR preferred Must-Have: Cerner experience required Job Description: - Open to later start date - First-timers accepted - Will work every 4th weekend or as needed - On-call required as needed - Candidates will not float within scope to meet facility needs - Discuss schedule requests with the manager for accommodating block schedule - Locals accepted - Required abdomen and pelvis MRI Skills/Experience: Abdominal, Magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA), Magnetic resonance venography (MRV), Female/Male Pelvis, Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) - Required cardiovascular MRI skills/experience: MR Angio Lower Extremity with Bilateral Runoff - Required chest MRI skills/experience: Chest - Required head and neck CT experience/skills: Brain, Cranial Nerves, Face/soft tissue neck, Head Magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA), Head Magnetic resonance venography (MRV), Neck Magnetic Resonance Venography (MRV), Orbits - Required musculoskeletal MRI skills/experience: Foot, Hand, Hip/Bony pelvis, Knee, Lower extremity long bones, Shoulder, Sternum, Temporomandibular joint with/without contrast, Upper extremity long bones - Required special imaging procedure skills/experience: CINE (Cerebrospinal fluid flow study), Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Maximum intensity projection (MIP), Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), Perfusion, Peripheral Magnetic resonance angiography (Iliac, runoff), Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T-1 Weighted Images, T-2 Weighted Images - Required spine case MRI skills/experience: Cervical, Lumbar, Sacrum/coccyx, Spinal trauma, Thoracic, Thoracic Magnetic resonance angiography - Level I Trauma experience preferred - Must be in state 3 business days prior to compliance deadline to meet fingerprinting requirements - Flu Vaccine required - Medical/Religious Exemptions only - Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays - All travel candidates must float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby - Background policy may require prior approval - Orientation: 16 hours non-billable - Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours. Modules completed virtually on the first day by EOD, then annually. Non-clinical hours do not vary; module hours may vary for clinical roles.
